Roger is completely right. We constantly have a challenge trying to hire competent workers for our waterproofing business. We are constantly training. Finding the motivated worker, who has some knowledge, but can also learn about concrete, structural issues, how to operate equipment, how to install and repair end user equipment like sump pumps and dehumidifiers, and can also provide excellent customer service is like finding a needle in a haystack. Fortunately, we have been good at keeping and growing employees, so losing an employee is a real detriment to our company. We’re hopeful that the tide turns and young people are attracted to trades again.
